With his ginormous franchise rebooted, THE GREAT GATSBY pushed back to next summer, and being replaced in THE LIFE OF PI you would be forgiven for thinking that the opening to the trailer for dark comedy THE DETAILS was a diary entry from Tobey Maguire himself. THE DETAILS is a sinister look at infidelity and the effects it has on numerous characters. The trailer looks excellent, but how could it not? It has Ray Liotta playing it fairly calm and a raccoon. Now that’s a film I want to see. This is Jacob Aaron Estes’ first film since MEAN CREEK (2004), so that’s another reason to be excited for it. Check out the trailer below.
THE DETAILS is released in the US 2nd November. It stars Tobey Maguire, Elizabeth Banks, Ray Liotta, Laura Linney, Dennis Haysbert and Kerry Washington.
