We all love a good slasher movie, right? All you need is a bunch of repugnant teens to bump off in a variety of creative ways, and a solid, original killer… so meet Smiley, who’s name and appearance speak for themselves.
SMILEY follows high school teen Ashley (Caitlin Gerard), who learns of an urban legend that says a grotesque serial killer can be summoned through the Internet. And if that sounds a little crap (and let’s be honest, it does), the titular villain is intriguing enough to muster some excitement for the upcoming horror movie.
In the meantime, check out this awesome new poster!
SMILEY is directed by Michael J. Gallagher and co-stars Michael Traynor, Melanie Papalia, and Keith David. It arrives in cinemas later this year.
