In a world dominated by super-hero talk, it’s no surprise that the majority of news on Edgar Wright recently has been about his ANT-MAN adaptation. So it’s easy to forget that Wright is currently shooting his third team-up with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost with THE WORLD’S END. Here are some of the first on-set photos from the production which show us the actors playing younger versions of Nick Frost and Simon Pegg’s characters. The film sees a group of men reattempting an epic pub crawl which they failed in their youth.
I’m not a fan of SCOTT PILGRIM VS THE WORLD or SHAUN OF THE DEAD, but I liked HOT FUZZ for the most part. For me this film could go either way, but I know plenty of people will be waiting with great anticipation for this arrival.
THE WORLD’S END will be released 14th August 2013. It stars Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Rosamund Pike, and Paddy Considine.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
