Three of cinema’s finest veteran actors headline this comic crime-caper, as Al Pacino’s recently released gangster Val is reunited with two former best pals (Walken and Arkin) after spending nearly thirty years behind bars. Seemingly as close as ever despite being apart so long, their loyalty is soon put to the test after one of the trio is tasked with putting Val down for good. Actor-turned-director Fisher Stevens directs from a script from first-time screenwriter Noah Haidle, and with these three always-watchable favourites we could have an enjoyable sleeper hit on the way.
THN brings you the first trailer for the film, which is slated for cinemas early next year. Julianna Margulies, Vanessa Felito and Bill Burr co-star.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
