Over the last couple of weeks we’ve had the first official poster and image from the forthcoming horror sequel TEXAS CHAINSAW 3D. We’re about to go one better as we have the first trailer for the direct follow-up to Tobe Hooper’s 1974 macabre masterpiece, which is directed by John Lussenhopp. The film also side-steps all previous entries in the franchise, as well as the recent remake and prequel (coming from Michael Bay’s notorious Platinum Dunes production company), with the rights now in the hands of Millenium Films and Lionsgate. Feel the buzz…
TEXAS CHAINSAW 3D will see Leatherface and his limb-lopping tool tearing up cinemas from 4th January 2013! Rising star Alexandra Daddario headlines alongside Marilyn Burns, John Dugan, Gunner Hansen and Bill Moseley, who all return to the franchise.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
