When Orgies Go Wrong! Paul Harris Boardman To Adapt James Patterson’s ‘Guilty Wives’

Paul Harris Boardman, the screenwriter behind THE EXORCISM OF EMILY ROSE and the upcoming true story based on the West Memphis Three DEVIL’S KNOT, has been signed on to tackle an adaptation of the James Patterson novel GUILTY WIVES. GUILTY WIVES will tell the tale of four married women who go away for a wild weekend. After an ill judged orgy, they wake up to find two corpses in their hotel room and are soon arrested for murder. Like THE HANGOVER but for the ladies. And probably more serious.

Having never read a James Patterson novel I don’t feel too strongly either way about this film. I have seen KISS THE GIRLS (1997) and ALONG CAME A SPIDER (2001), featuring James Patterson’s most popular character, Alex Cross. Both of those were acceptable thrillers but nothing to write home about.
