The latest image from THE HOBBIT: AND AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY gives us a look at Bilbo, Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) frolicking through a field or running towards/away from something of great importance. THE HOBBIT is going to be the prequel trilogy to THE LORD OF THE RINGS in case you had been living under a rock. I have very mixed opinions about the film so far. I’m skeptical about the film makers ability to stretch the story into three parts, I don’t like the sound of 48 frames per second, and I’m worried they’ll try and cram in too many connections to LORD OF THE RINGS. However, all the cast seem perfect and I can’t wait to revisit Middle-Earth. I also liked the book of THE HOBBIT more than I liked LORD OF THE RINGS.
THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY is released 14th December 2012. It stars Martin Freeman, Ian McKellen, Benedict Cumberbatch, Andy Serkis, Luke Evans, Evangeline Lilly, Elijah Wood, Hugo Weaving, Cate Blanchett, Richard Armitage, Orlando Bloom, Christopher Lee, Aiden Turner, Ian Holm, Billy Connolly, and Lee Pace.

His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies.
