The latest French film to star Marion Cotillard is directed by Jacques Audiard. Audiard is known for his A PROPHET which came out in 2009. RUST AND BONE focuses on Ali (Matthias Schoenaerts), who moves to Antibes with his once estranged son to live with his sister. Ali meets Marion Cotillard’s character Stephanie on a night out, and they find each other again after Stephanie endures a horrible tragedy.
Cotillard recently starred in the French drama LITTLE WHITE LIES, in which a happy environment and group of friends suffer from one tragic moment. Similar to LITTLE WHITE LIES, RUST AND BONE seems to be telling an incredibly emotional tale. I am excited to see how the relationship of Ali and Stephanie unfolds and where the tragedy leads them. Check out the trailer and let us know what you think. Emotional and exciting, or a possible bore?
RUST AND BONES is out in the UK on the 2nd of November.

Isra has probably seen one too many movies and has serious issues with differentiating between reality and film - which is why her phone number starts with 555. She tries to be intellectual and claims to enjoy German and Swedish film, but in reality anything with a pretty boy in it will suffice.
