If you haven’t been enjoying STAR WARS of late and are yet to check out THE CLONE WARS, then may I strongly suggest you do. Here’s the trailer for season 5 of the CG animated show, and it looks like the most exciting series yet. With an exceptionally dark tone, you almost wish the guys behind this show had taken control of the prequels. Here we see Darth Maul, Oh yes. He returned. As he seeks vengeance against the Jedi and the Sith. It looks as though he will do battle with his old master Emperor Palpatine. The series has also done a much better job at cementing Obi-Wan and Anakin’s friendship, as well as Anakin’s turn to the darkside.
I love this show, and it’s just gotten better and better. All future watches of the STAR WARS franchise will include these series, even though that will make it spread out over days. Check out the trailer, even if you did lose your faith.
Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
