Another preview of what’s to come on THE AVENGERS DVD and Blu-ray gives us a look at Chris Evans and Mark Ruffalo’s roles as Captain America and The Hulk. Joss Whedon mentions how Mark Ruffalo was at the top of a very short list, and producer Kevin Feige claims that when you look at Evans all you see is Steve Rogers. Something I find to be true, and quite impressive considering he was previously cast as Marvel’s The Human Torch in THE FANTASTIC FOUR. This clip does seem to be self-congratulatory slaps on the back all round, which may be because it was just a perfect team and atmosphere. But I would like to see some stuff that doesn’t just sound like an advertisement.
THE AVENGERS is released on DVD 17th September 2012. It stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Stellan Skarsgard, Samuel L. Jackson, and Tom Hiddleston.
