Three More Join Paul Haggis’ ‘Third Person’.

Writer-director Paul Haggis’ next project has already cast two actors (albeit glorified cameos) from his criminally under-seen thriller THE NEXT THREE DAYS. Not only will Liam Neeson and Olivia Wilde reunite with the Oscar-winning filmmaker for THIRD PERSON, now we can also add Mila Kunis, Jamaes Franco and Casey Affleck to the romantic-drama, which promises to interweave three different stories of three couples in three major cities. I see a theme here, somewhere? Naomi Watts is also expected to feature.

Kunis and Franco have just completed work together on Sam Raimi’s THE WIZARD OF OZ prequel, OZ: THE GREAT AND POWERFUL, while Affleck will co-star with Christian Bale in Scott Cooper’s revenge-fulled thriller OUT OF THE FURNACE.

Shooting on THIRD PERSON will begin 17th October with the film expected in cinemas late 2013.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
