Three simple words sum up the union of Seth Rogen and Barbara Streisand: together at last.
All joking aside, THE GUILT TRIP actually has bags of potential, particularly as its written by Dan Fogelman, who wrote THN favourite CRAZY, STUPID, LOVE. The movie follows Andy (Rogen), an inventor who takes his widowed mother (Streisand) on a promotional trip for his latest creation. Along the way he attempts to reunite her with an ex with calling in on his San Francisco home by surprise. Bittersweet hilarity ensues no doubt.
Whilst director Anne Fletcher’s CV is ropey (THE PROPOSAL, 27 DRESSES), THN is optimistic for THE GUILT TRIP.
Check out this awesome picture of Rogen and Streisand standing next to each other whilst she hands a cheque over a counter. Absolute magic.
