Jason Bateman, the star of TEEN WOLF TOO (1987) has a new film set for release next year. It’s a film called DISCONNECT and we have the first stills here. It is the first directorial feature film from Henry Alex Rubin, the director of the fantastic documentary MURDERBALL (2005). The film will look at the human connections we make in a world that is dominated by the internet.
The examination of our lives with the internet sounds like an interesting topic for a documentary filmmaker, but will he be able to spin it into an interesting narrative? Let’s hope so.
DISCONNECT is released in the US 12th April 2013 with no UK release date set. It stars Jason Bateman, Alexander Skarsgard, Paula Patton, Frank Grillo and Michael Nyqvist.
