There’s only one race I’m interested in this year, and that’s the life and death race between Richard Briers and a zombie in COCKNEYS VS ZOMBIES. Where the Olympics is concerned you barely have time to get comfy on the couch before the race is over, but here we get all the intensity of such a moment with no need to resort to slow motion which inevitably reveals awkward facial expressions. To add to the hilarity we have the delightful Alan Ford screaming “RUUUUUUUUN!”
If I have to explain the plot to you then you’re probably not the brightest bulb in the batch. Expect lots of gore and humour, but perhaps some overuse of comical cockney rhyming slang.
COCKNEYS VS ZOMBIES is released 31st August. It stars Michelle Ryan, Alan Ford, Honor Blackman, and Richard Briers.
