Jon Favreau Directs NBC’s ‘Revolution’ And Extended Preview

Amongst the mass of great TV shows coming out, there’s always one eye on J.J. Abrams after the runaway success of LOST and despite the slight backlash towards the end, it always shone through as ‘must-watch’ so when we heard about the upcoming REVOLUTION, we were very interested. It’s co-created with SUPERNATURALS’s Eric Kripke and we’ve got a little teaser.

First up, take note that it’s directed by Jon Favreau (IRON MAN) and this trailer shows us the premise, all the electricity in the world – well, North & South America from what we’re shown – mysteriously begins to turn off and the world is instantly changed. 15 years later, people are still living but growing crops, sword-fighting and have an impressive knack of firing a bow and arrow.

Sure, there’s dramatic over-acting and impressive epic sets but will it be too much, are the networks trying to do things too big before looking at storyline? I guess we’ll have to wait and find out but in the meantime, have a look at the extended preview and let us know what you think:

Revolution will star Gus Esposito (BREAKING BAD), Elizabeth Mitchell (LOST), Billy Burke (TWILIGHT),  Tim Guinee (IRON MAN/BLADE) and a whole load more. Check out their official site by clicking here.
