Following the critical, and commercial success of THE DESCENDANTS director Alexander Payne has, apparently, got the green light for NEBRASKA a black and white road trip movie about an alcoholic and his estranged Son. Sound’s quirky enough for Payne whose previous credits include SIDEWAYS and ELECTION – both fantastic movies.
Bruce Dern (LAST MAN STANDING) is attached as the drunk on a trip to obtain a $1 million Publisher’s House Clearing sweepstake prize, with Will Forte (SNL) his son in tow. Dern is one of Hollywood’s most poorly utilised talents, and Forte is a tremendous comic talent add these into the house of Payne and you’ve got a recipe for success.

Sam is a bloody lovely lad born and raised in Bristol (he’s still there and can’t escape). Favourite films include THE LOST BOYS, DRIVE, FIGHT CLUB and COMMANDO, well pretty much any 1980s Arnie film you can throw his way…even RED SONJA. Sam once cancelled a Total Film subscription after they slagged off Teen Wolf. He resubscribed 2 days later.
