Early word from those lucky enough to have seen Pete Travis’ forthcoming DREDD 3D at this years Comic-Con say it’s bold, brutal and bloody brilliant. This is news that will fill those 2000 A.D. comic-book fans, and film fans in general, with a lot of hope, having endured Danny Cannon’s dire effort from 1995. We’re promised a shitload of bloodshed, but if you’re unsure about that, then check out this awesome clip that we first brought you a few weeks ago.
In the meantime take a look at this terrific final poster for the action-thriller, which is scheduled for release from 7th September. We pray Karl Urban wipes our memory of a helmet-less Sylvester Stallone.
DREDD 3D also features Olivia Thirlby, Lena Heady, Domnhall Gleeson and Jason Cope.
