HOLY MOTORS, the new film from director Leos Carax, has just had a new trailer and poster released by its Australian distributors, Icon. HOLY MOTORS has already made a splash at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year and walked away with the Award Of The Youth. It was also nominated for the Palme d’Or.
The trailer is very intriguing, and puts across a lot of wonderful imagery. The night-time setting and obvious transportation link reminds me of David Lynch’s LOST HIGHWAY. Not to mention the fact I have absolutely no idea what is going on, take a look and let us know what you think:
HOLY MOTORS is released in the UK 28th September 2012. It stars Denis Lavant, Edith Scob, Eva Mendes, and Kylie Minogue.
Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
