THE WATCH is about to hit cinemas in the US, so director Akiva Schaffer has given us a few rather saucy outtakes. Many will recognise Schaffer as being a part of Andy Samberg lead comedy band The Lonely Island. This is his second feature after the underrated HOT ROD (2007). The plot sees a neighbourhood watch group come up against aliens.
The outtakes show a large amount of improv, which I hope doesn’t overpower the film too much. There are certainly some funny moments, most notably Richard Ayoade attempting to end his ‘dream’. Check out the clip below, as we in the UK will have to wait another month.
THE WATCH will be released in the UK 24th August 2012. It stars Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill, and Richard Ayoade.
