All actors have faces, some have faces I’d like to do stuff with – Kate Beckinsale, Scarlett Johannson and I have a reoccurring dream about Maggie Smith to name a few – whilst some make me want to punch them. Jonathan Rhys Meyers (THE TUDORS) falls into the latter category I’m not sure why, he’s probably a nice enough guy but his smug good looks infuriate me…ah jealousy, that’s the reason. We’ve received news that he’s just been cast as Dracula in NBC’s forthcoming show of the same name. It will be a ten-parter and by the sounds of it will follow the same story arc of every modern Dracula. He’ll come to London and wreak havoc on those who ruined his life and killed his missus. Could be all right though and we’ll keep you posted on any further developments.
What do you think, do we really need another Dracula? Or do you just love a bit of Rhys Meyers? Let us know.

Sam is a bloody lovely lad born and raised in Bristol (he’s still there and can’t escape). Favourite films include THE LOST BOYS, DRIVE, FIGHT CLUB and COMMANDO, well pretty much any 1980s Arnie film you can throw his way…even RED SONJA. Sam once cancelled a Total Film subscription after they slagged off Teen Wolf. He resubscribed 2 days later.
