If you’ve been to see Christopher Nolan’s bat-conclusion THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, chances are you caught the grandstanding teaser trailer from Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot MAN OF STEEL. While not much action from the film is on display, the sombre tone of the film can certainly be felt, alluding to the journey Clark Kent will venture on as becomes the saviour of mankind. Less is certainly more in this case.
THN is now able to bring both versions of the teaser, with alternative voice overs (from what we can make out, one is Jonathan Kent and the other Jor-El). So if you’ve yet to see it, or want to take another gander, it’s below in all its dream-like glory.
Enjoy!
MAN OF STEEL has a top notch cast that includes Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Russell Crowe, Diane Lane, Michael Shannon and Laurence Fishburne. It flies into cinemas 14th June 2013. The always-reliable THE DARK KNIGHT RISES director Christopher Nolan also produces.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.

How exciting to finally get at least a little peek at how this movie is going to look. That Supes crescendo is pretty special eh? Although I am a little confused by all that Deadliest Catch fisherman stuff? Best not be messing with the Kansas origins!!!
Which one do folks prefer? I’m going with Crowe’s Jor-El narration;
Why? It hints at the amazing utopian future that Superman leads humanity to in a lot of comic books. Really fantastical stuff that develops the Superman character beyond him just being a strong and indestructible hero but actually a Super intelligent Being. Exciting
