This is kind of a bizarre teaser for THE CANYONS, but let’s roll with it. THE CANYONS stars Lindsay Lohan as a member of a group of twentysomethings and their lives of drugs, sex and crime in Los Angeles. The title suggests it’s the deep dark parts of Los Angeles ignored by shows such as THE HILLS. The film is directed by Paul Schrader, the man behind AFFLICTION (1997). Novelist Brett Easton Ellis has written the screenplay, which will go some way to cluing you in to what kind of content to expect. Most interesting of all is Lohan’s co-star James Deen, who is best known as an adult film star in the likes of ‘Anal Fanatic 3’, ‘Kung Fu Pussy’ and ‘Ass Worship 13’.
Here’s the trailer. However, it only shows scenes around LA. No footage of the actual film, actors or anything of interest.
THE CANYONS is to be released in 2013. It stars Lindsay Lohan, James Deen, Nolan Gerard Funk and Amanda Brooks.
