The bed he made with THE HUNGER GAMES isn’t even cold yet, but that hasn’t stopped director Gary Ross from taking on another adaptation. Ross is to take on PETER AND THE STARCATCHERS, a prequel to PETER PAN written by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson.
The book was published by Hyperion Books, a subsidiary of Disney in 2004 and they keep hold of this version that will be written by Jesse Wigutow. Gary Ross turned down the opportunity to direct THE HUNGER GAMES sequel CATCHING FIRE, and it looks as though Hollywood is his metaphorical oyster after that box-office hit.
