Finding Nemo Sequel At The Top Of Disney-Pixar’s List

Perhaps burned by the disastrous live-action experience that was JOHN CARTER, director Andrew Stanton appears to be going back to the drawing board – or should that be – the computer screen drawing board. It’s been confirmed that Stanton is set to helm another underwater adventure involving everyone’s favourite missing fish.

Stanton’s 2003 animated hit FINDING NEMO is still a firm family favourite but, until recently, the director was reluctant to return to one of Pixar’s biggest efforts. The first film is considered his ‘baby’, as Stanton devised the original concept. No word yet whether the excellent Albert Brooks returns to voice overprotective and hyper-active father Marlin, or any of the previous voice cast for that matter but we can only hope!

THN, as always, will keep you up-to-date as things develop.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
