Fringe Season 5 Gives Us An Impressive Trailer

I’ve been a huge fan of FRINGE since it began in 2009 and I think in a time of cancellation-happy networks, we’re very lucky that Fox have commissioned season 5, the one that will conclude all. It’s definitely become a bit of a cult hit, and if you’re a fan of anything slightly off the usual, such as the X-FILES or even fringe science, you’d really enjoy the bizarre and exciting trials and tribulations of the FRINGE team.

Created by J. J. Abrams, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, FRINGE centers around FBI agent Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv) who is forced to work with slightly off-kilter scientist Walter Bishop (John Noble) in order to rationalise various storms of unexplained phenomena. The show also stars Joshua Jackson, Lance Reddick, Blair Brown and Jasika Nicole who are a great ensemble cast AND not forgetting…STAR TREK legend Leonard Nimoy who’s plays an integral part to proceedings.

In Season 5, well, it’s hard to explain but fans are expecting a LOT of things to kick off and judging by this trailer that debuted at Comic Con, we’re going to get the past 4 seasons all-rolled into one massive finale. It kicks off on Fox in the US on 28th September and we’ll hopefully have it at the same time in the UK, check out the teaser poster but first…bring it on:

Henry Ian Cusick of LOST fame (Desmond!) will also star in Season 5 and for more FRINGE-related news and views, visit here.
