The spectacle that is Cirque Du Soleil has astounded many a theatre goer over the years. Their jaw-dropping dramatic skills have thrilled since their formation in 1984. Now a big-screen feature film centred on one of their stage shows is due to hit cinemas later this year.
The collaborative efforts of iconic film-maker/producer James Cameron and SHREK & THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA director Andrew Adamson will bring the ground-breaking 3D camera work used in Cameron’s box-office record-breaker AVATAR. THN has the all-new, fascinating trailer for the stunning looking, CIRQUE DU SOLEIL: WORLDS AWAY 3D:
Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
