The obituaries section of THE HOLLYWOOD BOOZE will be jam packed this week as along with Andy Griffiths passing I’m sorry to say that a genuine comedy legend Eric Sykes has died. Sykes was arguably most well known for his work in Radio on THE GOON SHOW and TV series SYKES in which he starred with Hattie Jacques. A genuine hero of mine who could rinse a comic idea to near breaking point and still have you laughing he will be greatly missed passing following a short illness leaving his wife of 60 years Edith Milbrandt and their four children.
