Remember what it was like between 2001-2003: you couldn’t open a magazine without seeing Peter Jackson’s LORD OF RINGS plastered over almost every inch of page. Horrible, wasn’t it? Mercifully, New Line has been more sparing with its marketing for Jackson’s follow-up THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY. That doesn’t mean cinemagoers are any less excited about seeing it, however, and once all the dust has settled on blockbuster season, THE HOBBIT will have them salivating with demented fanboy glee right until the end of the year.
Check out this new batch of images, direct from the pages of the new Entertainment Weekly. Shit – it’s happening again.
Clever girl.
THE HOBBIT stars Martin freeman, Ian McKellen, Cate Blanchett, Evangeline Lily, Billy Connolly, and Hugo Weaving. It arrives in UK cinemas 14th December.
