Currently in the UK, we have 19 IMAX theatres that will be able to fully showcase Nolan’s vision how he intended, but what is so special about it? Why does Christopher Nolan keep on about how amazing and glorious it is? Well, have a look at the video below showing how much work goes into the projection of the image and like us, you’ll probably be taken aback by how impressive it all is:
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES opens July 20th and stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman and Anne Hathaway and will be amazing.

Sam is a bloody lovely lad born and raised in Bristol (he’s still there and can’t escape). Favourite films include THE LOST BOYS, DRIVE, FIGHT CLUB and COMMANDO, well pretty much any 1980s Arnie film you can throw his way…even RED SONJA. Sam once cancelled a Total Film subscription after they slagged off Teen Wolf. He resubscribed 2 days later.
