Glimpses of THE EXPENDABLES 2 content seems to have dried up of late, possibly frightened off by the likes of upcoming blockbusters, THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN and THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. Fear not though, as THN can ably assist with this all new clip from the forthcoming action sequel.
Hopefully, with CON AIR’s Simon West in charge this time, we may get that all-star action spectacular we were promised with the first film and not some tepid, blink and you’ll miss ’em ego boost. Having said that, West did direct the disappointing efforts LARA CROFT: TOMB RAIDER and THE MECHANIC. Fingers crossed though!
THE EXPENDABLES 2 is released 17th August and stars the returning Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Terry Crews, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture and Charisma Carpenter. Newcomers to the franchise include Jean-Claude Van Damme, Chuck Norris and Liam Hemsworth…Oh, there’s also a couple named Schwarzenegger and Willis involved somewhere. Try not to blink though.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
