It was recently announced that HARRY POTTER producer David Heyman would be helping to adapt this little bear’s story for the big screen alongside The Mighty Boosh director Paul King. Now, we have the first promo poster for PADDINGTON and it already hold all kinds of charm. Although these are very early days and no cast has been announced for the live-action/CGI adaptation, the journey implied by the poster already says this may be a little epic for the tale based on the children’s books by Michael Bond.
They have it planned for release in 2014 and we’ll have more news, as and when it’s released. I’ll tell you one thing, I’ve never seen Paddington Station this empty or promising, bring on the Bear! If you don’t know Paddington, where have you been, check out his dedicated website and here’s your poster:

Ha, I like it. If anyone can be polite, he’s definitely one!
I can also imagine hearing Martin Freeman…as a bit younger and all that.
