Liam Neeson will unleash his ‘particular set of skills’ upon another bunch of brawlers in a sequel to the terrific 2008 action-thriller TAKEN written by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen. The recent trailer gave us the first glimpse at what Neeson’s Bryan Mills will be up against in TAKEN 2. A moody, magnificent UK quad appeared earlier in the week but then mysteriously disappeared but now THN has this rather drab, first official one-sheet.
TRANSPORTER 3 director Oliver Megaton replaces Pierre Morel in the chair, which moves the action away from the bright lights of Paris to bustling streets of Istanbul. TAKEN 2 hits cinemas 5th October and co-stars Maggie Grace, Famke Janssen and Leland Orser. More of the same will do us just fine!

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
