Ryan Phillippe is back with a triple threat, as he is set to write, direct and star in the indie thriller SHREVEPORT. Though many details about the upcoming film as still unclear, the general plot is as follows. Ryan stars as a has-been actor, who gets kidnapped on the set of a low-budget film in Louisiana. The motives for the kidnap are still unknown, however Variety has reported that the CRUEL INTENTIONS star will be held hostage and be tortured in the film. Co-written with Joe Gossett, SHREVEPORT will start filming in Louisiana this summer.
