A sequel about boxing in which neither the original movie’s director or star return? Blimey, it’s all starting to sound a bit like TEEN WOLF TOO. Mercifully, it isn’t – it’s RAGING BULL II, the prequel/sequel 32 years in the making.
The film will document the life of boxer Jake LaMotta before and after the events of the Martin Scorsese-directed original. This time around, Martin Guigui sits in the director’s chair, and LaMotta will be played by two actors – Mojean Aria will play the young LaMotta, and William Forsythe is set for the older version. Considering the weight Robert De Niro piled on to convincingly play an old and young version of the character, enlisting two actors seems something of a cop out. Come on Aria, pull your finger out and get stuck into the pies!

RAGING BULL II co-stars Tom Sizemore, Penelope Ann Miller, Joe Mantegna, and Natasha Henstridge. It is due for release 2013.
