Tomorrow the teaser trailer for Peter Travis’ DREDD is due for release, and as is customary these days, here’s a teaser for the teaser (or as it’s otherwise known, 10 seconds of footage).
Whilst Judge Dredd is perhaps less known than comic book compadres such as Batman or the X-Men, he’s a cult favourite and has been the poster boy for ‘2000 AD’ since debut in its second issue back 1977.
Fanboys will be hoping for a better movie than 1995’s JUDGE DREDD, a serious calamity and the beginning of a lull period for Sylvester Stallone’s career. It will be interesting to see how Pete Travis (director of VANTAGE POINT) handles he material, though THN is confident Karl Urban will do a grand job behind the iconic mask.
Check out the footage below and stay tuned for the teaser trailer!
DREDD arrives in UK cinemas 7th September
