Jennifer Connelly is reportedly in talks to star in Darren Aronofsky’s Biblical epic NOAH. Ol’ Eyebrows is thought to have edged ahead of Julianne Moore to secure the role of Noah’s wife Naamah, and will potentially star alongside Russell Crowe in the titular role. The film will be ‘a close adaptation of the Biblical story of Noah’s Ark, in which the titular Noah is given a divine mission of building an ark to save creation from the impending flood.’
Connelly previously appeared with Crowe in A BEAUTIFUL MIND, and went ass-to-ass in Aronofsky’s REQUIEM FOR A DREAM. The actress won an Oscar for her role in Ron Howard’s drama, but has failed to gain any accolades for her work with a dildo.
HARRY POTTER star Emma Watson has also signed up to appear in the BLACK SWAN director’s feature. The actress will play a young woman who falls for one of Noah’s two sons. Douglas Booth will get to bone Hermione, while PERCY JACKSON’s Logan Lerman will herd animals or something. SEXY BEAST actor and ‘come to the cinema despite the fact you’re already in the cinema’ advertiser Ray Winstone will portray the films antagonist. Not the flood, obviously.
NOAH will begin filming in New York this Summer before heading to Iceland. NOAH will sail into cinemas early 2014.
