Having been rumoured for a role before filming began, it has now been confirmed the always hilarious Jonah Hill will finally join the cast of Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Southern’ DJANGO UNCHAINED. It appears the role will be different to the one Hill was due to play and, like previously, will be a supporting role considering it’s almost ready to wrap. Scheduling issues prevented the 21 JUMP STREET star joining initially, but the chance to work with the iconic PULP FICTION director, perhaps too good an opportunity to miss out on. He has now juggled other projects around to make sure his name is attached to another sure-to-be Tarantino classic.

The recently seen trailer looked thrilling, with the main cast of Leonardo DiCaprio, Christoph Waltz and Jamie Foxx as the slave-turned-bounty hunter title character, all looking superb. DJANGO UNCHAINED escapes into UK cinemas 18th January and c0-stars Don Johnson, Samuel L. Jackson, Kerry Washington, James Remar and Franco Nero.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
