Yes, yet more content from Marc Webb’s THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. Sony Pictures’ reboot of Marvel’s wall-crawler is fast approaching and THN is able to bring you this latest international TV spot. There has been perhaps too much seen already, which some will probably feel that they’ve seen the movie already. The latest clip shows yet more previously unseen footage. There is certainly a lot more action between our hero Peter Parker’s web-spinning alter-ego and his new nemesis, Dr. Curt Connor’s Lizard (Rhys Ifans).
Still, THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, released 4th July, will no doubt prove to be a box-office bonanza for the studio. However, with the film coming so soon after Sam Raimi’s trilogy as well as the superb AVENGERS ASSEMBLE dominating this summers cinemas, the film could prove something of a disappointment. We live in hope though, that we have something special coming our way. The impressive cast of Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, Campbell Scott and Denis Leary, will certainly help.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
