While some may consider me a grumpy bugger when it comes to the dire TWILIGHT SAGA, there is obviously enough of you out there paying to see them, so what do I know. The longing looks between Kristen Stewart’s Bella and Robert Pattinson’s pale sap-vamp Edward have often resulted in me falling asleep. That’s without even mentioning walking wardrobe and shirtless wonder Taylor Lautner as that CGI’ed wolf Jacob. As you can tell I’m not a fan, but appreciate many are.
So if you’re waiting to see the first glimpse at Bella and Edward’s vampire offspring Renesmee (played by Mackenzie Foy and partially hidden by her mother) from THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN PART 2, Here you go! If you look hard enough you can see she has at least one eye and a nose in this almost spoof-like shot. Interestingly, even both the stars here look a bit bored…Will it be as thrilling as the previous efforts? That was irony by the way.
How will fans cope without the franchise after this final instalment? Lionsgate are looking to do an alleged follow-up feature entitled THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN PART 2 PART 2: EDWARD BREAKS THE BED AGAIN. Suzanne Collins is hastily typing as you read. Honestly.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
