Henry ‘Goodfellas’ Hill Passes Away At 69

 

Today we have received the news that Henry Hill has passed away. Former mob member Hill found notoriety after life story was turned into the classic Scorcese movie GOODFELLAS, in which he was played by Ray Liotta.The film was adapted from the book of Hill’s story, ‘Wiseguys’.

Back in the day Hill may not have been the nicest man in the world, but he gained some fame later in life, and became an informant after entering (and subsequently expelled from following several misdemeanours) witness protection. His testimony led to the incarcerations of numerous big-nae mobsters.

He leaves two children and an ex-wife and passes following a recent heart attack.

Favourite films include THE LOST BOYS, DRIVE, FIGHT CLUB and COMMANDO, well pretty much any 1980s Arnie film you can throw his way…even RED SONJA. Sam once cancelled a Total Film subscription after they slagged off Teen Wolf. He resubscribed 2 days later.
