Despite a disappointing first effort, THE EXPENDABLES is once again whetting the appetites of die hard action fans. And why the f*ck not? (censored on request of Chuck Norris) This time around, accomplished action director Simon West (CON AIR,, anyone?) takes the reigns, and ol’ droopy face himself, Sylvester Stallone, has accrued another impressive cast of muscle-bound B-move legends. Even though a few may be past their prime – and one of them even looks a bit like an old shoe – it’s still an exciting line up.
Joining Sly is Jason Statham, Jet Li, Randy Couture, Dolph Lundgren, Liam Hemsworth, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Chuck Norris, Charisma Carpenter, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Bruce Forsyth… erm, Willis.
THE EXPENDABLES 2 arrives in cinemas 17th August.
