Yes, those early rumours are now definitely true as Lindsay Lohan is playing Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime TV biopic LIZ & DICK, and today THN had the first image of her and TRUE BLOOD’s Grant Bowler as Richard Burton.
The made-for-TV movie will focus on Taylor and Burton’s romance, which had numerous ups and downs over the years, and started filming last week in LA. Granted, this isn’t going to be a big screen affair which takes some pressure off the dysfunctional Lohan (who has had continual problems with alcohol and general well-being) but we’re always eager to see people re-launch their careers. There will be a lot of initial interest in this production, which is set to be on the small screen, later this year.
