Fortunately, it turns out Treadstone were churning out nails-hard agents like they were going out of fashion, which is handy considering Matt Damon declined to return for the fourth installment of the BOURNE series. This time around Jeremy Renner takes the lead role, playing Aaron Cross, the next agent to go rogue and prove a royal pain in the CIA’s arse.
Ed Norton and Rachel Weisz also join the franchise, starring alongside regulars Albert Finney and Joan Allen. Here’s hoping the series continues its impressive run with Tony Gilroy’s latest entry.
