From those wholesome folk that brought you PARANORMAL ACTIVITY and INSIDIOUS we have a scary looking poster for their latest SINISTER. It follows a struggling true crime author – aren’t they all? – who in search of his next story, moves his family to a house where a family was brutally murdered – as you do – and needless to say supernatural and horrific things entail. Sounds like a reasonably original twist on the horror genre and we at THN love a bit of a fright so we’re excited to see the finished product, especially looking at the imaginative and creepy poster below:
SINISTER also stars Juliet Rylance, James Ransone (INSIDE MAN) and Vincent D’Onofrio (FULL METAL JACKET) and is directed by Scott Derrickson (THE EXORCISM OF EMILY ROSE) with a release date of 5th October, just in time for Halloween.

Sam is a bloody lovely lad born and raised in Bristol (he’s still there and can’t escape). Favourite films include THE LOST BOYS, DRIVE, FIGHT CLUB and COMMANDO, well pretty much any 1980s Arnie film you can throw his way…even RED SONJA. Sam once cancelled a Total Film subscription after they slagged off Teen Wolf. He resubscribed 2 days later.
