We’ve had a couple of dark and mysterious posters for Ridley Scott’s upcoming ALIEN prequel PROMETHEUS. However this spoiler(ish) international design is similar to a scene from the recent trailers, one involving the ‘other’ ship that appears to be on the same planet, that may have the answers for Earth’s biggest questions!
Any fans of the franchise will know it is the spaceship carrying the famous ‘extraterrestrial being’ known as the ‘Space Jockey’, the shell of which was previously seen in Scott 1979 sci-fi classic. PROMETHEUS aims to tell the origin of H.R. Giger’s iconic design that was prominent in ALIEN, yet largely forgotten about in all other sequels.
PROMETHEUS hits cinemas 1st of June and stars Logan Marshall Green, Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Sean Harris, Rafe Spall, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba and Charlize Theron.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
