It maybe opening against one of this summer’s most anticipated movies, PROMETHEUS, but this THN writer is starting to think SNOW WHITE & THE HUNTSMAN may be a blockbuster dark horse. With a more adult-themed, action-packed retelling of the fairytale, Snow White (Kristen Stewart) will attempt to unite the good folk of the land, and end the dreaded reign of evil Queen (Charlize Theron). From what we’ve seen, the film has a very similar tone and visual style to Ridley Scott’s LEGEND.
Now THN is able to bring you a brand new clip, this time featuring our first look at the iconic dwarves, played by an ace cast of Britain’s best. The cast includes the aforementioned huntsman, played by THOR’s Chris Hemsworth, alongside Bob Hoskins, Toby Jones, Sam Claflin, Ray Winstone, Eddie Izzard, Stephen Graham, Eddie Marsan and Ian McShane.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
