Projects are mounting up for Welsh actor Luke Evans. He is currently over in New Zealand shooting Peter Jackson’s THE HOBBIT, and now we can confirm he will take the lead villain role in Justin Lin’s FAST & FURIOUS 6. He will join usual players Paul Walker and Vin Diesel in the project, that also features Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson and kick-ass HAYWIRE beauty Gina Carano.
Evans has previously been seen in THE THREE MUSKETEERS, CLASH OF THE TITANS, IMMORTALS and the recent John Cusack dark-thriller THE RAVEN.
Other actors in negotiations for supporting roles include pop singer and BATTLESHIP stunner Rihanna and former DR. WHO and FRIGHT NIGHT remake star David Tenant. If deals are reached for the duo or any further casting, THN as always will bring you confirmation.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
