Kyle Chandler Joins ‘The Wolf Of Wall Street’

THN recently confirmed MONEYBALL Oscar-nominee Jonah Hill had joined Leonardo DiCaprio for Martin Scorsese’s latest epic, THE WOLF OF WALL STREET. Another familiar face has signed on to co-star alongside the duo; FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, KING KONG and SUPER 8 actor Kyle Chandler.

THE WOLF OF WALL STREET is based on the best-selling biography by Jordan Belfort. The bio depicts the excesses of greed and the high-roller lifestyle of the notorious corporate stock-broker that brought financial chaos and controversy to the iconic street. Belfort, who will be played by DiCaprio, eventually plead guilty for his part in a fraud scam and spent two years in prison.

Chandler is expected to take the role of the lead FBI Agent, keeping tabs on Belfort’s criminal activities. He recently won an Emmy Award for the final season of acclaimed American Football-drama FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, and will soon be seen in Ben Affleck’s ARGO, Katheryn Bigelow’s hunt for bin Laden pic ZERO DARK THIRTY and Allen Hughes political-thriller BROKEN CITY.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
