Cameron Diaz And Del Toro To Star In Agent: Century 21

Action comedy is coming back to the cinemas, and this time it takes its form in the upcoming, and bizarrely named, AGENT: CENTURY 21.

Starring Cameron Diaz and Benicio Del Toro, the story follows recent divorcee Mary Kay Curly (Diaz) who finds herself tangled in the center of a Mexican drug war, after she takes an unpleasant job for her boss. It turns out that outsmarting the FBI and underground crime lords is quite a piece of cake, when you have dumb luck and maternal instincts to fall back on.

Written by Greg Brooker, AGENT: CENTURY 21 is the directorial debut of Adam Hashemi and said to be a adrenaline-infused comedy that’ll bring two star names together on the big screen.

It will be produced by Andrew Lazar of Mad Chance (CONFESSIONS OF A DANGEROUS MIND) and David Greenblatt (BATTLE: LOS ANGELES) with Shane Black (IRON MAN 3) attached as the executive producer.  Guy East and Nigel Sinclair, Co-Chairmen of Exclusive Media had this to say about the film:

“Agent: Century 21′ is an adrenaline-infused comedy which brings together two of the hottest stars in Hollywood. It’s a dream combination and with out friend Andrew producing the film, it does not get much better than this.”

Diaz has been dazzling on the big screen is last year’s BAD TEACHER and THE GREEN HORNET, while Del Toro is also in pre-production on Martin Scorsese’s SILENCE. AGENT: CENTURY 21 is currently in production.
