With THE DICTATOR released in just over a week the marketing has really kicked in. We bought you the red-band trailer earlier but now we’ve got Sacha Baron Cohen doing what he does best, acting in full character live.
Below are the highlights of a hilarious press conference General Aladeen (Cohen) hosted in New York recently and if the film is anything like as funny, and knowing, than we’re all in for a lovely non-PC treat. Or at least that’s what the leader said…
THE DICTATOR is released 16th May and also stars Anna Faris (WHAT’S YOUR NUMBER?) and Ben Kingsley (HUGO) and is directed by long-time Cohen collaborator Larry Charles (BORAT, BRUNO).

Sam is a bloody lovely lad born and raised in Bristol (he’s still there and can’t escape). Favourite films include THE LOST BOYS, DRIVE, FIGHT CLUB and COMMANDO, well pretty much any 1980s Arnie film you can throw his way…even RED SONJA. Sam once cancelled a Total Film subscription after they slagged off Teen Wolf. He resubscribed 2 days later.
